Didn't expect much & never had a handheld TV before to compare this to. My TV reacts badly to airplanes, breezes, rain, & a multitude of things where I'm located. I only use free air TV. So figured this mini TV would do no better, but @ least during times it could get a signal that it was @ least portable & could go w/ me to various rooms. I was surprised to find it did BETTER than my bigger TV even in rainy or windy weather. Now I depend on it for weather alerts since my big TV can't get signals in bad weather when tornado warnings are aired. I even got a 2nd one for my mother who also has TV signal issues where she lives. It gets more channels than my bigger TV does too. It does vary w/ signal strength & weather as to which channels it gets, but it's proven to be more dependable & usable even then than my bigger TV & always gets me something usable & the local news. That's what I needed & I'm happy about it.I am concerned how long the wire to the little black antenna will work since it gets lots of movement/twisting/& bending during moving the TV around (it's thin like a phone charging cord & phone charger cords go bad under similar conditions after awhile). But it looks like most portable indoor antennas w/ cables could be substituted. I had no luck w/ the silver antenna pulling in signals inside my house, but the black antenna works GREAT. The instructions had such microscopic print it was useless. But the TV was easy to figure out just by pressing the different buttons. Even my mother figured it out easily by herself. The volume control was the only tricky one. But instead of clicking the button to increase or decrease sound, you have to hold the button down for that is all. I can't tell when the battery is fully charged & I think it only gets about 45 min's on battery power. But it does work while plugged in & I'm good w/ that since the batteries don't last forever & this one can't be replaced. So I know I'll still ge able to use the tv even after the battery life is completely gone. I also know I can use the power cord all thr time & forget about the battery altogether if I want to. My only other concern is it did run hot & my mother even said hers did too. The tv needs to stand upright so air circulates around the back of it.It doesn't get hot unless laying flat on the back or standing w/ the back propped against something. So I got Mom a phone stand w/ an open design so it doesn't block the back of the TV so it can run cool. That fixed that issue! For mine, I just bent 3 paper clips into 45 degree angles, then used black electrical tape to tape the row of 3 paper clips to the back lower edge forming a DIY row of feet to keep the tv standing up.Worked great & the tape even matched the TV perfectly. I then taped over the paper clip "feet" in one long row so the antenna & power cords don't get caught in the paper clips when moving the TV around. These DIY TV "feet" worked worked out great. Since I've never had any other handheld TV, I can't say how this one compares, but it does wonders for me & my mother compared to our bigger TVs. I really expected to have to return them if I tried them @ my house & my mother's house & am so glad I tried them anyway. They're keepers.

Comme téléviseur, superbe image, usage de la batteries, enfin neuf c'est plus de deux heure, avec une qualité d'image assez surprenantes, j'ai essayé (je les répare souvent aussi), depuis la transition aux tout digital je dois dire que c'est la meilleur qui me soitpasser dans les mains…à dates,...d'une 3.5 pouces de fabrication japonaise a 12 pouces et tous les format entre.Mais il y a des mais, le boîtier est fragile, près à brise a la moindre manipulation,..tellement mince que l'on dirait un prop de cinema, pas un vrais appareil.et la connection antenne est tellement de mauvaise qualité, que jai du en refaireles filait, heureusement que j'en suis outillé, sans cela après avoir forcé soit un amphenol ou l'antenne fournie, ce serait définitif on enlève plus sous risque d'endommager se dit connecteur…heureusement les teste on été effectuer avecun connecteur sans filet (tread), j'ignore si elle seront tous equipe de cet connecteurplus bas que le bas de gamme…j'espère que non… celui de mon appareil n'était pas même rond mais légèrement ovale, avant que je le passe a la machine a TREAD,Je ne connais pas le nom français..et elle chauffe cette appareil, après deux heure on a peine a touché l'arrièrece qui ne présage rien de bon pour l'avenir…seul un appareil tele portablevendue sous le nom de Electrohome 7 pouce digital tele approchais cette dernièreComme j'ai acheté celui-ci pour des voyages, ici aux canada (fréquent) je doute de sa survie avec chaleur et fragilité du boîtier,...Une très belle image vidéo, la sensibilité est bonne, la durée de la batterie est exactedeux heures et plus. sont les bons points, la dure je ne prend pas de chance je vais la ranger dans une petite etui capitonné de caméra…temp je doute quel survive a quelquechock normal pour un appareil portable…les prochain mois diront si elle survit a quelque déplacement, et la batteries..si il en sorte une version avec une meilleur boitier (pas l'apparence on sent fout, maisla qualité du plastique, et utilise une batterie légèrement plus robuste, déjà il y aurait moins de surchauffe, et un connecteur rond, pas obligé d'être tres haute qualité, mais rond ce serait déjà ça) je rachète tout de suite.Petit ajoue, deuxieme voyage elle aquasi survecue...aux deux mais voila, disparue avec mes bagage aux retour,...alor je vient den comende une deuxieme, meme modele.... je vais enfin savoir si cela chaufe autemp... par ce que cote qualite de la reception et l image. toujour aussi facine....

Great little TV. Perfect for camping. Surprisingly, good picture.

Wow I like this TV very much. It is really well made. The only thing I did not like about it is the leg which really does nothing, basically you cant rely on it. When it comes to signal I attached my paper thin antenna to it (the paper thin antenna is attached to the glass of the window to get a good signal). This TV got exactly the same number of channels as my big screen Samsung and big screen LG televisions. I was amazed that this little device got 34 channels including few channels from New York and Buffalo. I was happy getting this mini tv and I did use it in the bathroom during a Leafs hockey game after I spent sometime putting it in the right spot to get CBC which airs Hockey every Saturday here in Toronto. I'm glad I got this tv and I do recommend this tv for any camper.

this tv works great I drive a lumber truck, sometimes I'm 50 miles from a town and still get some stations, (with the long antenna) now I can shut down anywhere and don't need data , nothing worse than running out of hours and having to sit for 10 hours with no entertainment, this tv always gets something.

Na verdade não posso avaliar essa (TV) porque ela não é compatível com o o sistema de TV do Brasil.O vendedor me devolveu o dinheiro Recomendo muito esse vendedor. Muito honesto. e agradeço a Amazon pela rapidez que agilizou a devolução do valor pago,
