The cable and clamps look good, but the turnbuckles are undersized in my opinion. I started using one, not even much tension yet, and one of the bolts seized up. The threads got damaged. They claim 6400lbs, which I would believe for the cable, but not this hardware. I wouldn't trust the turnbuckle for more than a few hundred lbs. I'm going to have to purchase a better turnbuckle now for this project.

Great stainless kit for anchoring aluminum carports to mobile homes. We live in Florida where we often cringe in our living rooms hoping our carports don't blow away. Now we sit in our living room and say "It's going to take more than that".

For the price, I can't believe the quality of the parts; I expected something chintzy - but the fasteners (I don't know the nomenclature of these parts) are solid and well made -- and the cable is just as described. If I recall it's all stainless steel -- at least the fasteners... very impressed with this, esp. for the money.

The 1/4 cable was fine no complaints. The rest of the components were useless. I had to go out to the local hardware store and spend as much again to get the correct parts. Total waste of money.
