The cable comes wound in a coil that is approx 8" in diameter. Despite the tight coil the wire does not retain a coil at all. It is very supple and easy to bend around a ferrule to form a loop. The number of fittings included are way more than enough for typical projects. Be sure to have a crimping tool that can handle a 3mm cable.

My wire order is now in a tree and exposed to the weather. The vinyl covered stainless steel should last a long time, and I hope it does. The aluminum crimp clamps and stainless cable timbles look to be of good quality and there certainly are enough of them.

The parts themselves seem to be a good enough quality, but the kit has the wrong parts for a properly done job. The cable is not 1/8 inch as advertised, but closer to 3/32. The included swage sleeves are sized for a 1/8 inch cable, so they do not hold the cable securely when the vinyl coating is removed.A proper cable eye must be crimped with the vinyl coating stripped off, or it won't hold well. The thimbles, cables, and sleeves are not matched to each other, so the parts in the kit don't work together. Since the selling point of the kit is that it has all the required parts, I have to rate this poorly.Note: on further examination, it does say in the description that the cable is 1/8 inch with the vinyl sleeve, but this is not how cable is normally sold, and I would still expect them to include the correct hardware. Cable is sold by the raw cable size, not the size with coating.
