Door lock switch works perfectly, but the new door latch is thinner a the bace and did not allow door to close properly. I ended up using the old latch works fine. Nice that the latch was included may be needed and work for others

Just finished installing this part and it was an easy install and worked perfectly. Compared prices and this was by fair the cheapest. Couldn’t be happier with this product.

it was delivered before deadline. it fit perfectly and has been working for 6 months with no issues.tools: nose pliers, Philips screw driver.the only minor thing was that new white latch didn't perfectly; it was a few mm too thick and so, I reused original one to get it to work, well.

So, the Switch worked great....but not the door catch. The base of the plastic door catch is a full 1.5mm thinner than the original OEM product and will not engage the switch unless shimmed. Luckily the original was still intact and works fine. It Catches the switch properly and washer and spin cycles work correctly.Otherwise price is great and operates like new.Watch YouTube videos on replacement. Simple 5 minute repair.

I hoped the problem with my Frigidaire Affinity washer was the wax motor for the door lock, because it wouldn't spin. So I ordered this item and it came the next day. It was easy to install. All you have to do is remove the door gasket, unscrew the old door lock, pull it out, and pull the electrical connectors one at a time and plug them into the new door lock. Then you put the new door lock into position and reinstall the screws. After that you put the door gasket back on. The whole operation took about 15 minutes, mostly because the door gasket is a pain in the hindquarters to reinstall. Other than that, it's an easy fix. If Grammy can do it, so can you. However, on August 20, it quit working, so I bought another one off of ebay. Hope this isn't a monthly thing...

Frigidaire washer wouldn't start, because the door would not lock properly, so I decided to start with replacing the door sensor.Installation was very easy - should only take a few minutes. The hardest part is messing the wire chord that holds the rubber insert in place.First run with the replacement sensor and the washer started right up and ran as normal - thought the problem was solved..That said, after a little while I noticed a strong burning plastic smell, so I shut everything off and took out the new sensor again and noticed it was very hot.I'm assuming the new sensor is faulty, as it is identical to the old sensor. Installation was very simple, so I think it's fair to assume the issue wasn't due to user error - it's literally plug and play, you can't mess it up. I also double checked everything and didn't notice any damage to wiring, etc.The point is I'm getting another sensor elsewhere. Not worth the risk of a potential fire.
