This is a pretty nice rack. It can hold quite a bit of weight. I got it to use the shelves and not for rack modules at this time, although the option is nice to have. The two sides are identical parts so take note when you're assembling them and don't just go by the markings for the rack units. If you need a little more depth on the shelves, turn them upside down - the back bracket will still fit (possibly without being screwed in).

Overall I truly like this rack, The look is fantastic, the included 2 shelves is a great bonus but I didn't use them on this job but now I have extra shelving for my next AV rack ! I like that the rack screws was included and even a cardboard templet is included to drill holes or screws on the wall. I did use my own mounting screws and don't remember if the mounting screws are included or not?Some folks suggest in the reviews all the screw holes don't line up and yes I found that to be true but in no way prevented me from using this rack 100% just looks like a tiny bit lacking in Q.C. but hey it excels every place else! Very sturdy, looks nice and high tech and the logo on the rack is cool but be aware it has a BOLD white tech MOJO logo on a black rack.Be sure to check your needed rack size as this was deeper than I needed but was my fault not measuring but just make sure of the size as it was deeper than I expected for some reason. My install helper also made the statement that "He" liked the rack and he has installed many. many brands. The price is right and it looks great, holds my stuff great and solid, whats not to love? I will buy again! ! its a great rack!

The rack feels pretty sturdy and i have no fears it might fall apart under the weight of my two 4u servers and other equipment. including 2 rack shelves is a really nice bonus as well. i have subtracted a star from my review because i bought the 16u version of the rack and i dont think that is a very accurate description of it. its technically 14u (maybe 15u if you are willing to forgo one of the cross supports on either the top or bottom). Basically the cross supports along the top and bottom take up 1u of space each from the total space. it would have been nice to not lose that space to support structure.

I recently got the TECMOJO 12U Open Frame Network Rack, and I’m really happy with it. One thing I really liked was the cardboard template it comes with for mounting. It made lining up the screws to the wall super easy, and since it fits perfectly on 16-inch on center studs, I felt confident it was going to be really secure.I liked the shelves. They’re nice for holding smaller equipment that can't be rack mounted. I was also able to fit a bigger 18” deep network switch in there without any problems, which is why I picked this rack.The only issue I ran into was that one of the shelf brackets mounting holes was miss aligned and didn’t fit quite right, but other than that, it’s been great. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this rack.

I'm pretty happy with this rack except for one thing - the front & rear facing threaded holes that you are supposed to use for mounting the gear are NOT evenly spaced. Looks like they were drilled by hand, and the spacing is very uneven. I have a couple of items in the rack that I can't put both top and bottom screws in, because the holes don't line up with the ones in the tabs. They're misaligned vertically and horizontally, and the spacing is off. It's not unusable, but it's definitely disappointing and I will buy my next rack elsewhere.

I got the 20U open frame rack from Tecmojo. This is the first rack I ever got or assembled.It came with one of those ikea style wrench to install the hex screws for the assembly of the frame.You need a screwdriver to install the shevles. I highly recommend a heavy duty electric screw driver.Installing the outer frame wasn't too complicated, but installing the top most shelf was a pain.I could not line up the top with the holes to screw/attached. It turns out the holes were slightly too small so I screwed through each hole without the stop shelf, took the screws out, and then was able to place the top shelf and screw in the holes.I was able to install the other shelves, but used an electric heavy duty screw driver.Overall, it seems very sturdy once everything was assembled. I even installed other shelves just fine.One issue I had was a patch panel. The screws that came with the patch panel were too big for this rack. Luckily, this rack came with extra screws to install the gear.The instructions could be clearer, but it wasn't too bad.I got the one with casters/wheels as I live in an apartment and can't wall mount this. I wanted the wheels so i can tinger with the back when needed.Inside of the box, it came with wall mounting screws and a cardboard template to mark the screws to wallmount.So it's advertised as 20U, but the top and bottom strut bars each cover 1U, so there's actually about 18U to install gear.It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble this by myself, but I added four other sheves and a patch panel.I added shelves to the back of the rack in antcipation of holding cables and power bricks. I might take them out if I don't end up needing them.

First of all, it’s a 12U in height, but not in space. The top and bottom 1U aren’t really replaceable by actual gear as they have oddly spaced screws and they are too close to the top and bottom so you can’t even replace them with the tables that come with it.There are cagenote holes, but the space between the rails cannot fit gear (at least a Alesis 3630 and a Pyle PC0860 doesn’t fit) so you’re stuck with the threaded holes (as someone who was expecting to use cagenotes, this is frustrating).TLDR, doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.

This rack is a good cost-performance ratio, with expected cost-minimization that doesn't much impact performance...But but what a missed opportunity to allow a rack-standard side panel! The rails on the front are 10-32 (my usual preference), and on the sides there are square holes for cage nuts. Ohhh, a perfect solution. I pulled a couple of blank 6U panels out of inventory, tracked down the bin of cage nuts...... and the spacing is just a little too narrow to allow use of 19-inch panels to close up the box. I know it never claimed to do that, but with those square holes, I had a moment of optimism...Otherwise, it's an acceptable cheap rack that feels stable. The bright branding on one of the vented 1U "front beams" is easy to replace, and the rear supports for the two shelves are minimal with a single M4 screw that can be hard to reach... though it is cool that it comes with shelves. Will be fine for my lightweight comm-panel application; it replaced a solid but very unserviceable enclosed sloper cabinet, and is doing the job for less $$ than expected.

Super easy to assemble. Lots of space. Came with the shelves. Bang for buck an excellent rack. I have enough space to add a UPS and a secondary patch panel if I need it.Came with extra rack mount screws which was nice, though not enough and had to buy more.Came with two shelves that are half the length. I put one facing the back to hold up my power supplies.Currently holding NAS, 48p switch, 4p switch, router, modem, patch panel, power bar, nuc, and RPI.
