Very nice. Only issue included screws weren't our standard 10-32, but had enough on hand.

I’m a little bummed about these. I purchased them for usage in a music studio / production setup. They look great, feel great, come with screws, good price BUT unfortunately they resonate when they’re in the rack. I suppose the gauge of steel/material is a touch too thin, which means if they’re agitated or vibrated by a loud sound source they’re going to emit a tone or ping. When you hit them in the rack, they definitely have a “tone”.

Needed a 1U blank panel to fit a Gator brand case and this product was perfect for my application. The panel is very sturdy and has a very tough and durable finish. Great product at the right price!

Not much you can say about a blank rack panel. Paint is good and it fits properly. Recommended.

There really isn't a lot of variance between spacers nowadays with the exception being some of the cheaper ones can skip on minor quality things like the smooth bend in the metal on the tops and bottoms of the panels. Happy to report these are exactly what you'd expect and no corners were cut.I have a rack that is a bit shallower than my main server so I am unable to put the back of the rack enclosure on and make things look "pretty" and it drove me nuts. So my fix was to buy a couple of these 4U spacers and mount them on the back rails to give it that "closed off" look and it worked perfectly.I gave it 5 stars but if I had to be critical of anything it'd be the included bolts being silver instead of black. It's not a big deal at the end of the day but if you're going for an entirely all blacked out look then you might want to pick up some extra black bolts to go with this. However, it's hard to complain because it did come with all the cage nuts and bolts you'd need to mount these plus some extra.

Good stuff. Simple, but well made. There is a roll in the steel on both top and bottom, giving maximum rigidity. Cheap versions would not have bothered to do that. Clean looking metal. Comes with hardware.Interesting note on hardware. I have a big pack of genuine Rittal cage nuts and screws from some random project in Europe years ago. Now I have a Dell cabinet which is made by Rittal. The cage nuts won't fit side by side (i.e., in adjacent square holes) most of the time. I don't even understand how this can be. So I actually need - and appreciate - the acceptable (but not quite as high quality) hardware that comes with consumer rack products like this (one of these can fit adjacent to a Rittal OEM).

If you need blank panels these fill the bill. They are nice heavy steel, no flex. There isn't much else to say, unless you've had cheaper panels that flex or don't fit. A couple of notes. The included hardware is what's needed for IT style racks with metric screws. But if you use AV style racks (I've been in broadcast for a long time) the included screws are metric, not the #10-32 you expect, so don't try to force them into the holes! Not a big deal, but worth noting. Basically if your rack has holes tapped into the rails they will be 10-32 (or 12-24 in some broadcast facilities) then you will need your own screws. If your racks have larger square holes the included hardware will work. Screws are cheap, not a big deal. In either case these panels will fill the gaps. I use them as front panels for home built equipment.
