This handrail looks great on the outside of my house. I have a few stone steps and needed a handrail on the right side just to steady myself climbing the steps. This handrail that screws into the wall is perfect for what I needed.It is great quality, all one piece, with the screws and wall anchors included. I didn't need the wall anchors as the handrail was attached to an outside wooden wall but if you are attaching it to sheetrock you could use then although I would recommend something a little stronger.I'm really pleased with the way this looks and the sturdiness of the handrail. It would be ideal for the outside but also as a handrail indoors.

This is a great ‘short’ railing and we are using at the top of our basement stairway in between the section of the wall and where the lower railing starts. Since we wanted to make sure you wouldn’t lose your balance right at the top this was the perfect thing

We were looking for a low profile railing as the intended mounting position already had a light switch just about in the exact position for recommended height above step. This design when mounted cuts the lower corner of the light switch plate but does not interfere with operation. I would have preferred mounting brackets that moved so I could use screws into the studs in that wall. The drywall anchors that were shipped with the railing are a strong design and worked well. I found no wobble in the railing. There were no instructions packed with this product. It is pretty straightforward to mount but you do need to consult articles on railing height. it is a very smooth finish so that could be a problem for someone with weak hands. It will be interesting to see the long term results with this railing.
