If you have a Ryan Home with a garage, you likely have 2 or 3 steps from the garage into the house. This worked great as a handrail for the 3 steps. I put one on each side of the door. It really helps when older family members visit. They feel much more secure going up and down the steps. Easy to install.

Great way to add a railing without having a support at the bottom step. Installed this for a 2 step entry from a garage to the house. Very sturdy if mounted to a wall stud … would not recommend installing with the plastic wall anchors provided

I am getting up there in age and I live in a very old house. I needed a rail to hang onto on the front steps. I read a bunch of the reviews and decided to get the one with the longest length. I will eventually upgrade the entrance, so I didn't want anything that required a lot of expense to implement. I was very impressed with this rail. I checked the welds and they were complete. There were no scratches in the finish. And it was easy to mount. It feels very sturdy. At some point I may get longer screws for the mount plate, but that is mainly because of my application. I feel much safer going up and down the steps now.

An extra handrail or two is never a bad idea for safety's sake. We added these to wood posts on our front porch and they look like they were part of the original design. I like that the one handrail provides a little barrier away from the sharp drop-off where the stairs turn to the driveway. The installation was simple with one exception. The screws that were situated at the midpoint and bottom of the plate were difficult to screw in with a drill, as the handle prevented the drill from getting the proper angle. The top two screws went in fine, but did not sit perfectly flat. Our son said they were the wrong type of screws. Once he purchased a different type (Pics attached), the problems was solved. They sit flat against the back plate and could be screwed in with a torque wrench(?). In this case, it was much easier than using the drill. Would highly recommend.

Naja mal schauen wie es ist hab ich gedacht als ich das Paket bekommen habe und war dann positiv überrascht alles gut verpackt in zwei Teilen . Nächste Überraschung sogar ein Steinbohrer wurde mit geliefert . Wandhalterung mit dem Handlauf verschraubt und Löcher gebohrt . Alleine ohne eine helfende Hand und ohne bohr Schablone nicht einfach . Danach alles gut fest geschraubt und fertig .Das Ergebnis ist super . Sehr stabil an der wand und gut zu greifen .Nicht so gut ist , die Beschreibung ist nur in Englisch .

As my wife's balances decreases, we needed something to help my wife go up 3 steps into the kitchen. This works perfectly and she uses it all the time. Easy to Install and very sturdy.

I especially like that this can be mounted on the side of the building, rather than needing to attach to the ground with upright legs. It is also useful with the "U" bend to have two heights to grab and the horizontal connection gives a third way to grip. That has proved unexpectedly useful. I had to mount this high above a half-high rock wall and I especially like the extra length and downward bend. I had planned to mount it on the framing around the door opening, but the mounting plate was too wide for that. Information about the dimensions of the plate would have been useful.
