on a 2019 Ram, don't even think your going to plug in without removing the turbo intake baffle, fairly easy to install, cord is long enough to reach to bottom bumper without issue, it appears to be good quality. It would have been easier to install on a warm day vs 20degree F day, but thats my procrastination.I hooked into a watt meter with it 20 degrees F outside, my water / oil temp was 102F and my transmission was around 80F in the morning day after. my electricity is $0.125421 per kilowatt hour so around $2 daily 24/7. I played around with an electricity timer idea but wondered if the heat / cool cycle would cause long term issues and increased electricty use overall. When I first started the truck after 20 degree temp, it DID NOT go into the warmup phase and started immediately !!!

I installed this in my Excursion with 7.3L Powerstroke with no issues. The cord that came with the truck had a straight end where it plugged into the heater and a cheap snap to keep it in place. The 90 degree on this plug didn't fit exactly, I had to reroute the wire slightly but not a big deal. The nut on this plug is much more secure than the light clip on the original and the nut fit on the threads smoothly. The hardest part of the job is trying to route the new wire along the path of the old wire and dealing with the old wire loom. I tried it out immediately after installation and it was great to have a warm truck in the morning.

Works but the nut that holds it on is a little cheaply made but overall good
