We appreciate the convenience these battery Uddick disconnect kits offer for high demand electrical connections. We anticipate using the 6-pack for a few pieces of equipment we have as well as a portable 12V winch. The kit does come with the 6 glad-hand connectors, 12 crimp or solder terminal ends and 6 rubber boots to protect the connector ends. Keep in mind, these rubber boots only cover the working end of the connector and will not prevent water from entering the connector from the cable side. You could perhaps fill the back cavity with silicone, but it's best to avoid water at all costs. We read other reviews and were perplexed that our kit didn't include nuts and bolts as others mentioned. The connectors don't require fasteners to hold the terminals in place. Apparently they snap into the fitting once crimped onto a cable. We do wish there was a simple diagram illustrating the proper orientation for the silver-plated terminals for clarity sake. There are no instructions included whatsoever. Although fairly intuitive, how hard is it to include some form of direction? For that and the possible shortcoming of fasteners, we held back on our rating, but we are indeed pleased with the product. BTW, be aware that the terminals can make contact with fingers if inserted into the end. 12V shouldn't be an issue, but if using these at a higher voltage rating (AC or DC), be aware of the potential for electrical injury. That's why there are rubber caps included. Use them, regardless.

Ordered these UDDICK STORE 120A Battery Quick Disconnect Connecteur with Dust Cover for my DC to DC charger circuit between truck and camper. Needed a secure and reliable quick connection for the line from truck DC system to camper DC charge system. The kit I ordered had 6 Anderson style connection ends, three loose end connector dust covers, and 3 connector fixed brackets with flip style dust covers.I ran a single 2 AWG wire from battery in engine compartment through frame rail to rear of truck. This wire was hydraulically crimped to the positive pin terminal and a shorter 2 AWG wire was bonded to frame and crimped to negative pin terminal. Pin terminals click locked into connector and connector was installed in fixed bracket I mounted between bumper and trailer hitch. This made for a clean install and dust cover hides and protects connector at rear of truck. ***I did replace the flange nuts included with flat hex nuts that fit and locked into recesses in connector when mounting connector to bracket. Also added locktite to end of threads for a more secure mounting. The included nuts will work in a pinch but was concerned with vibrations loosening nuts over time and didn't want to risk over tightening and damaging connector.*** Not sure why flange nuts were included but they do work if it's all you have.Crimped positive and negative 2 AWG feed lines to trailer 80A DC to DC charger to pin terminals and inserted into second connector. This connector received one of the removable dust covers. It now takes about 10 seconds to connect truck to trailer charging circuit. Connectors are heavy plastic and solidly built. Interface is tight electrical connection is very good. Running charger at a full 80A I notice little to no added resistance...thus connectors don't get hot.As seen in pictures I have switched to this style connector for all my DC wiring needs. The smaller 50A for solar feeds, these 120A for truck and trailer connections, and the larger 175A connectors for my inverters. These are as good as the name brand at a fraction of the cost. Also interconnect with other brands including Anderson well. Keepers!
