I am a long-time fan of the Anderson PowerPole SB series of power connectors. I've used them with great success for all sorts of high-amperage direct-to-battery connections on two off-road rigs and multiple overland trailers, especially to create plug-and-play jumper cable setups. This set of connectors is the size I use most often: 1/0 AWG, rated at 175 amps. (The description says they'll work with cable as small as 4-gauge, but I would advise sticking with the 1/0.) These engage with a tight and secure connection, using substantial silver-plated copper lugs, which can be either crimped or soldered.Just note that, while compatible, these are not genuine Anderson Power Products connectors; they're knock-off clones. That said, their quality seems to be more-or-less comparable. Also be aware that, as with all Anderson connectors, only like colors mate (red-to-red, grey-to-grey, etc.) Each color has a unique internal "key," which prevents connection to the other colors.Overall, I'm very pleased with this order, and recommend these Anderson-style connectors to you.

These style connectors are available in a huge selection of sizes and amperages. If you are buying them to fit an already installed piece of equipment, make sure that they are the correct size for your application. This type of connector is probably the best 12 volt high amperage quick disconnect on the market. It is very suitable for hooking up portable winches (Check your maximum Amp draw!) and many other high amp devices. It can even be used to charge up separate batteries and standing vehicles. You will absolutely need a crimper to securely fasten these big contacts to whichever size cable you are going to use. There are many types of crimper you can use, the easiest type is the ones that look like a big pair of bolt-cutters but have a crimping head instead. The cheapest type are the big Hammer Crimpers available on Amazon. The best type are the big professional hydraulic crimpers that shops use. Speaking of wire size, the seller states that you can use AWG #4, #2, #1 & 0. I personally would not use #4 or #2 with this connector, if you are going to use #4 or #2, buy a smaller amperage connector. You do not want to use a big honking connector with teensy cable. This is not where you should cheap out. Pushing too many amps through a small cable can melt it and it could even catch fire. It’s not worth the risk.I do recommend these Quick Disconnectors!

Ordered this connector for my solar power system. It is mainly for connecting my 10kwh battery system to my charge controller. They look exactly like my other Anderson connectors. It's built quality is not as good as my Anderson connector. But not too far from it. The connector terminals are very good. It feels solid in hand. It can definitely handle 100+A current. Overall, very happy with it.

Using this for 100AH lithium battery temp connector on boondock and this works well! Great Product easy install (with hydraulic crimper) and then mating is tight but with the current rating that is what you want.

These connectors are as good as Anderson connectors but alot cheaper, I have used these connectors for several high amp applications beyond their stated rating with no problems what so ever👍
