The build quality of these quick connectors is impressive, especially for the price. Plastic housings are sturdy and feel durable, should be good for long-term use. The lugs are very good quality as well, with a long barrel for easy crimping, and a large contact area for reliable connections. These are perfect for temporary power connections of high-current DC applications, such as winches on trailers, power inverters for emergency use, trolling motors, or other demanding setups. Each connector includes a cap made from a soft, silicone-like material, which creates a nearly waterproof and dustproof seal when the connectors are not in use. It’s worth noting that this product is available in several versions on the same sales page, with or without handles, at different price points. I opted for the handle-less design to save on space, as the handles add some bulk. However, after using these connectors, it’s clear that a fair amount of force is required to connect and disconnect them, especially in tight spaces or under tension. In hindsight, the added convenience of handles likely outweighs the space savings for most practical applications, making the handle-equipped version a better choice for ease of use.Overall, these connectors are a solid option for any high-current DC power connections.

These battery quick connect/disconnect connectors are beneficial because it allows for fast and easy disconnection of a battery from a circuit, which is particularly useful when a vehicle or device is not in use for extended periods to prevent battery drain, and also provides a convenient way to quickly swap batteries without needing tools to loosen terminal connections.

Inverters can need power with over 100 amps, yet if you want to move them disconnecting the wires with bolted connections can take awhile. These plugs (175A size) require a good pull/push, but can do the job in a few seconds of connecting/disconnecting. The terminals for these require a crimper or soldering, but that should be expected. The included caps can cover the terminals while disconnected if afraid of contact (especially for higher voltages like 48V). They also have screw holes for mounting at least one side with #10 screws (3/16). Just be sure to follow the polarity marks on the connectors.

This kit is great for connecting high-power batteries to high drain applications -- maybe a 60V electric go-kart, or a custom electric motor-driven chipper. All the hardware came as described and functionality is good; the 2awg-ready blades are accurately formed and press into the housings with a solid click (just make sure you get the orientation correct...), and they're a nice size upgrade vs. my 50amp variants. The housings snap together with a satisfying amount of force yet are easy enough to disconnect that there is no worry that you'll overstress the included panel mounts.

I've gone through and wired a truck and dump trailer for pulling power from the truck to trailer. This package has everything you need! This is the standard Anderson connector format for connecting a vehicle to a trailer. They work well with other Anderson plug connectors. They are easily created and fool proof for connecting. They can be a little tricky getting unconnected, which is why the handles are so helpful. The package also comes with covers for the electrical connections (which we never had before). This 175A set supports 0 and 1 gauge wire. You can tell because of the "0/1" on the wire connectors. One side has an "A" and the other has "0/1". So, it doesn't work on 00 gauge wire and 2 gauge wire is considered too small to handle the power. The plug connectors are sturdy and strong. They should take a beating (and they usually do). The plug covers are very flexible and seem to hold well to the plug connectors. In general, these are really great connector and a complete full setup to get you going quickly.I have a couple issues, but not sure they subtract from the overall package. The handles, while firm and strong, could be made of more solid plastic in the handles. I'm afraid they might break. Time will tell. The second issue is that the nuts provided didn't fit well in one of the plug connector spots. I eventually got it in and couldn't get it out. So maybe it was OK.Lessons from doing this in the past. The wire connectors have a lip at the end. This lip needs to go against the metal tab in the plug connector. When the wire is pushed far enough into the plug connector, the lip goes over the metal tab in the plug connector and locks into place. This avoids the wires coming back out. You have to push the metal tab down to release the wire (if you need to take it out).Again, these are excellent quick connect power connectors and they have everything you need to be completely and fully setup. You just need wire for your vehicle and trailer. Highly recommend.

Reviewing: YiEC ZAN 50A 600V Battery Quick Connect Disconnect Connector 6-10AWG Battery Cable Connector Fit for 6-10 Gauge Connect and Disconnect Plug Connector with Protect Cover and Screws I've used this style connector for a variety of applications, primarily on construction equipment as quick disconnects for batteries. I'm very impressed with how easy they are to install and use. These are good quality connectors, and I haven't had any issues. Personally, I think they look sharp too, and add a level of professionalism to whatever system they are installed on.
