Bought these for a deck project, they worked great and have lasted six months without finish issues. Cheaper than comparable at the big box stores, arrived quickly.

Used these on a home deck build project instead on standard galvanized (gray/colorless) bolts. In my opinion well worth the extra dollars to achieve a more high end look.

Advertised as rust resistant and black ruspert, but it's actually just zinc plated. They're unsuitable for outdoor use and in ACQ treated lumber. (See pictures from testing)Advertised as 307A but the head has no grade markings. The head should have a 307A marking or the manufacturers stamp to be grade 2. This bolt has neither, meaning they do not meeting specifications for standard 307A or grade 2 carriage bolts.Summary: Cheaper than other carriage bolts kits, and there is a reason why. Not apples to apples. When using bolts this size, they are usually the main fastener holding something together. I would not trust these under any circumstances.
