These things are awesome and glad I found it.whoever installed my tub's spout from Kohler did not measure so had this 3/8" gap from spout to tub.Water was getting behind when people took showers.This was perfect fix but I did have to modify.Kohler spout uses a fitting soldered onto copper that has an O-ring and then a threaded portion over a length of about 2" it is about 1 1/4" OD so I had to drill a larger hole in the plastic part to fit over this.Wish they just had different size hole spacers for the 3 types of tub spout attachments.OVer all match tub and no one can tell - I did use plumbers' putty on back side top with small leakage point on bottom to help hold it in place and seal it.

Was easy to install and solved a problem we had with our bathtub fixture. A bit expensive, but did what we needed. Look at the pics before and after!
