American Standard says escutcheon is obsolete, and you won’t be able to find a dial plate that works with it.

I didn’t use this product. I purchased it for the black gasket (center of escutcheon) which didn’t come with the A.S. Fluent product I bought from my plumbing supply store. After calling A.S. four times and dealing with their customer service for over an hour each time and waiting as they shipped replacements which also didn’t have the necessary gasket, they still insisted that my original product didn’t come with or require this gasket. Well, this gasket actually did fit, perfectly, and it sealed the massive gap that would have been there and would have leaked water behind my shower walls had I not purchased this product for this gasket. So thank you Amazon for having this product available, but absolutely no thanks to the customer service department at A.S. who know nothing of their products or plumbing in general.Long story short, I’m never buying another A.S. product again
