Worked perfectly to help me get my seedlings in the ground sooner. While protecting the small plants from the elements & animal’s it provides them with a greenhouse effect helping to grow.

Glad I got these cloches to protect the young seedlings. I used clipped coated wire on a roll shaped into a U to pin through the three holes that hold the cloche down into the ground. We have lots of wind and none of them blew off.

Got these because we always have a last minute freeze in June in Utah high elevation areas. Had one night before last so got to put these to the test. They worked for some plants but not all.If your plants are big enough that they touch the sides of the domes then they are going to get frost bitten with these alone. I also covered the tops with rocks because we had a lot of wind and I didn’t realize that these didn’t come with the stakes you have to buy those separately so I didn’t have those, so I can’t say for sure if the holes in the top would allow frost to get in or not because of that. Also disappointed that for the cost these didn’t come with stakes. What I will be doing with these in the future is using them over the plants but then use a sheet of plastic or fabric or garden frost fabric over the domes. Because when I use just the frost fabric it settles onto the plant and my plants still get frost bitten, but these domes used with the fabric will keep that from happening. So not a total loss, I’ll still keep them and use them for that, however I can’t recommend them to use by themselves unless your plants are super tiny that they won’t touch the sides at all, which means you’ll only have a few weeks at most after planting them to use these. Would need larger ones for larger plants to avoid frost bite.

my tomatoes were only 4 inches tall, i had to get in the ground and being in WI the weather is sketchy, so i bought these to protect my tomatoes and they had to be anchored down with a little dirt around the edges, and the tomatoes doubled in size in 4 days. water around the outside or let the rain fall and the warmth and protection, it worked. they are huge now, i left them on for about 10 day until a storm blew them away. and weather calmed and warmed up. i recommend highly for all small garden plants.

Ces cloches de jardin pour plantes sont très bien, mais ça prend des attaches en U pour les maintenir en place quand le vent est fort.

Thought they'd be larger but they are pretty small can work for smaller pot or stuff in the ground, good quality plastic though

These little cones act as mini greenhouses. For the last two years the squirrels raid my garden and he the first sprouts of my pepper plants. I've tried many things to dissuade the rodents from getting the pepper plants to no avail. This year I bought the cones, and right after planting, I covered each plant with a cone. I left them on until the sprouting leaves were pressing against the walls. At that point, they were large enough that the squirrels left them alone. Still waiting to harvest the variety of hot peppers, but these plants have already made it further than any of my previous attempts. The cones are relatively thin. Thinner than a standard soda or water bottle. Similar to cheap arrowhead bottles. But they survived several weeks in the hot sun, and I will be able to reuse them next year.

These SMUJU Garden Cloches protected our new small/young plants exactly as described through an early season freeze. They were the perfect size for the new plants put in late this fall planting season.First freeze came several weeks early. With new plants only a couple of days in the ground, we needed frost/freeze protection fast. The SMUJU Garden Cloches were next day arrival and new plants were covered 12 hours before the freeze. We keep a supply of landscape staples (generally, prefer u-shaped rust resistant 4” or 6”). Clearing a ring of mulch around the plants, securing the Plant Cloches with 3 landscape staples and covering the Cloches rim with the mulch was fast. All plants survived and look great!Removing the Cloches was quick and easy. Plus, they stack nicely together and take up minimal space in our garage.
