I was very excited for this product as I’ve been looking for a way to protect my furniture from cat claws! I wish the sizes were bigger as it didn’t cover my entire loveseat. It would take a lot of plastic to cover all my furniture so I ultimately think this is a better option for spots that your pet particularly enjoys scratching. My cat immediately realized the blockage and then proceeded to scratch above the plastic damaging new, previously unscratched sections. My pet hasn’t been able to pull any pieces off which is good considering the plastic is pinned onto my couch. The plastic itself isn’t too noticeable but you do get a glare off it in the light and the pins make it obvious that something is attached so not my favorite but it’s been partially successful.

You would have to cover the whole thing for my cat. But I put it on the bad spots to save the chair

This is an interesting product. My mother has 5 cats that been taking a beating on her new couch. I used the guidelines to cut panels to stick to all the areas that they scratch. The panels don’t really like corners that much unless you stick a panel long ways over it but with our pull out couch shape, it’s not the easiest on every corner. I was able to put skinny strips on the very corners and I’m hoping they’ll continue to stick well.It sticks great (so far). You can even peel it and readjust and it’ll still stick. So far the cats have given up on trying to scratch but we’re worried they’ll peel it off.They’re not super thin but aren’t poster board thick. They stick well with and without the screws.The price is great and you get multiple sheets enough for all of your couch corners.My only issue are the grid lines. Why aren’t they consistent? No clue. If they made all the lines in the grid formation consistent, it would be a lot easier to cut straight

And my two cats seem to stay away from it. They don’t like the maybe the smell of it. I don’t know, but they don’t bother it.

So these work pretty well as you can cut them to fit different couch shapes. If you use them as is they have corner holes for included corkscrew pins to hold in place. Works well even with kids pulling at them and definitely work keeping cats from scratching.It makes your couch look shiny but better than shredded.
