I could not get my distiller to make decent tasting water. It is the typical At Home type. So I took the outside drip cover completely off. Then I used a stainless steel spout, and put it in the carafe.Then I put a small activated charcoal filter covering the drain hole in the spout.Then I laid the larger charcoal filter over the small filter, and angled one end up, toward the spout so that the filter was very close to the dripping water.This causes a much larger area the activated charcoal to come in contact with the dripping water. So it removes the VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) far better. Causes the taste to be Great every time.These larger charcoal packets work very well with this setup.

I used it for my Mega Home water distiller. It is good but can be better if the size is a little bigger. I actually used 2 pieces each time I replaced it.
