After searching local retailers, large and small, for replacement braces for the head of my Libman push broom I found these braces on Amazon. I was able to replace the braces easily and used the screws from the original head because they were larger and more secure than the screws that came with the replacement. I feel confident that the replacement braces with hold up better than the original braces which were plastic.

The brace installed easily as I drilled a couple of pilot holes. Over the years I have broken two handles on my large broom and the handle would always loosen every time I used it. With this brace the handle stays tight and there is no wobble. I should have bought this brace years ago.

Installed two: one on an 18” plastic head and one on a 24” wood head. Both work great. I used to have issues with the broom head unscrewing from the handle, this prevents that.Easy to install, comes with all parts needed. Will need to screw into your brush head. Clamps to the handle with provided bolts and wing nuts. Parts look galvanized, look good and should not rust.

The broom I put it on feels like new. I use it to clean large spaces and sweep light snow off my decks. The brace works well. I gave it 4 stars because the mounting holes on the broom head didn't match the holes in the brace and I had to drill a new hole to finish mounting the brace.
