I've only used 2 so far, but quality is there.The hooks were installed on an ATV recovery strap with just loops on the end.These mated right up and fit perfectly.I did have a chance to use them to recover a snowmobile with my ATV and these did the job!Great quality product for the price!

These hooks let me repair a frankenchain that someone had poorly adapted (read: grinder) some smaller hooks to. Everything is now correctly sized and my big chain will handle anything I try with it. These hooks are nicely plated to stand up to the elements. The pins are easy to remove if needed and stay in place when they need to. I'm really happy with these hooks, and now I need to get some 5/16" similar hooks to repair a few more chains.

We had chosen some G80 chain and grab hooks but when it showed up, the hooks were not installed and would not fit based on clearance of the second link. The seller has issues with the company that the parts were sourced through - with no fast resolution. So, we had chains with no hooks to fit. These G70 hooks from High-PQ fit our chains and the install was fast and easy. The rating is slightly lower being G70, but so much better than an incomplete chains. The other good part is that this set includes 10 hooks, we needed 4 to fix the chains. Now, we found a couple chains we think should have smaller hooks…. so we will change those out with this set too. This price at the time of this review for qty of 10 - 1/4” G70 hooks was $29.99 or about $3 per hook. We think this is a good value for the quality and the size. 5 Stars and problem solved.We hope our thoughts and photos help someone.

These 5/16" Chain Hooks are nicely forged with no rough edges. The 5/16 size is ideal for most chain work that I do with my Bobcat 863. Having a selection of hooks with easily removable clevis pins allows me to make custom chains for various applications. The galvanization keeps the hooks clean even after much outdoor use (including long stents where the chain and hooks are left outdoors.
