I haven’t had to use this yet but you can tell the quality is excellent. Very well made and at a great price.I read some reviews of people complaining about the chain being excessive oiled, but that is not the case with mine.I would definitely recommend.

I haven't had a lot of occasion to use this much yet, but I do think I can review it sufficiently given the purpose it is going to serve. We do tend to go through chains as they get used for various things, including towing stuck tractors or vehicles from snow or mud, or moving other heavy equipment, and logs and brush. Given the usage and familiarity with chains, I feel like I can give a good review.The first thing I like about the chain so far are the bright red hooks. I think the chain looks really nice with the thick red paint on the hooks. It has a practical side, which is you can find it in the grass easily when you throw it down. Not a small thing.On a similar tangent, the chain itself has a black coating that I can't quite describe. It seems like metal, and not painted black, but if it is painted, it is a nice enamel type finish. Better than most chains I've seen. It's a very attractive productive. But it is a chain, so looks only matter so much. But the finishes are good, and it hopefully won't rust quickly as a result.I would also mention that the links are bigger than a standard chains we got at home improvement stores. It looks well made, and while it is not heavy duty for some, it is certainly heavy duty enough for our purposes, and I would bet most households, to use. That is very much a positive. The attachment of the hook to the chain is also a good replaceable style hole pin and key. It is nicely done, and I would want it this way if I was assembling a chain from scratch.I have no complaints about this chain; it compares well to others I have used, and the finish is better, and more visible. I am sure it will be a long lived and useful item for our outdoor work.

Nice heavy chain- haven’t had to use it yet but looks like good quality chain— hope i don’t have to use it but expect it to work great when needed
