I bought this cable for my 50 pound golden doodle Mindy. She’s a one year-old puppy very active and very strong so I wanted the cable because I knew it would not snap very reasonably priced very strong very flexible and I have confidence that she will not be able to break it. Definitely recommend.

It works really well is very easy to us, the length is good and the size is good and I like the fact that it's green so I can see it more clearly in the dark when I go to put my animals outside and it doesn't weigh very much

So, I bought the Dudiun 20ft Tie Out Cable for my dog, who is part terrier, part wild animal. Honestly, I was expecting chaos. He’s the kind of dog who believes he’s one leash away from overthrowing the kingdom, and by kingdom, I mean my backyard. But this cable? This cable has been a game-changer.First of all, the ample 20ft length gives my dog just enough room to feel like he’s free, but also just enough to keep him from rampaging through the neighbor’s yard and living out his “wolf” fantasy. The cable itself is heavy-duty, rust-proof, and no-tangle—so no more wrestling with a twisted mess of metal like I did with previous tie-out cables. The best part? He still gets to act like he’s in charge of his own destiny—he can run, play, and pretend he’s chasing down a squirrel (he’s probably planning his next escape route). Meanwhile, I don’t have to worry about him launching himself into the unknown or chewing through the cable (which he would absolutely try if given the chance). Conclusion: If you’ve got a dog who thinks he’s a 350lb wolf but is actually just a feisty terrier, this cable will give him the illusion of freedom, and you the peace of mind knowing you won’t have to chase him down the street. It’s like a doggy leash, but with a little more finesse—and much less chaos.Rating: 5/5 – “Letting My Terrier-Wolf Roam Without the Carnage”

This is very flimsy, not heavy duty, definitely not 350lbs worthy. My dogs range from 20-70lbs and this won't last. I tie them out one at a time to potty. It is cheap, but also cheaply made. I would look for a better quality one unless you just have a small dog.

I feel compelled to write this review in hopes that it will help another dog owner. We have a 50lbs siberian husky, she’s from a sled line. She’s a puller and a runner. So I went ahead and found the highest weight rating on a leash I could find to keep her safely leashed in our yard, brownie points that this one was actually pink and pretty. 2 HOURS into the first use of this leash, she snapped the small flimsy metal clip like a potato chip and was running loose in our neighborhood. This clip that is expected to hold 500lbs is no bigger than my finger. Thankfully our night ended with her being brought home by a neighbor who saw her running loose when we had no idea the leash even broke. There is a reason husky owners keep them leashed. We are very experienced in taking the necessary steps to prevent our dog from getting loose so I’m extremely upset. They are notorious for running off and getting lost so thanks to this leash that I thought was inaccurately strong enough to hold her, we could have lost our dog. I would not recommend. Who cares about wasting $28, the risk of loosing your dog is not worth it.

While Stuck... taking care of our son's dog, "The Scoundrel" rips apart the backyard fence in an effort to get to 2 neighboring dogs. One dog, side fence, the other dog, back fence. It costs money to fix. So I purchased this strong 30ft red chain, and I wrap one end around our fire pit in the middle of the yard, and clip the dog to the other end. Now, "The Scoundrel" is tied up nicely and can't reach the fence. The reason I won the battle of wits is because this thin but strong 350lbs Lead, Works Like A Charm!

When you read the title that says it's made for a 250 lb dog you expect a certain level of robust/heavy hardware. This looks appropriate for a medium to small dog. The spring clips are very small and light weight. I highly doubt it would hold up for a labrador trying to pull hard on it. From everything I've seen it does not appear or feel to be poor quality. Hopefully it holds up for some time despite the smaller stature. I won't be ordering another one of these. If you have a tiny dog this would probably be perfect for you.
