I could see these bending even with just string lights. I bought 1/2” x 10’ rebar and placed that inside the poles. Should you have to do that for them to perform their task as designed? No. But I wanted them not to bend so the extra $6 each was worth it to me.

Unfortunately, the pole is leaning with just one strand of lights. We purchased these to replace the poles we had that we leaning hoping the new would be able to handle the weight of the patio light strand. Though the main spike does go deeper into the soil, I have a feeling that because the pole is multiple sections it causes it to lean/bend.

I wasn’t sure how to put lights up on our patio that has trex decking so we devised a solution by cementing these poles into planters and topping with decorative rocks. We get high winds in the southwest and this is an upstairs deck, and no complaints so far (although I did not need to put them at the full 10 foot height). Love the ambiance!

We ordered these because our apartment complex would not allow us to put string lights on the balcony so the next best thing was this product. The poles are a little bit wobbly, but we zip tied them to our balcony on each side and we hung some lights and now we have a beautiful lit up, peaceful balcony.

I used these to hold up outdoor lights. They are not that sturdy but so far they’ve worked ok even in high wind. I used S hooks to attach the poles to a fence rail about 2.5 feet above ground on two sides to add stability. The backyard I used them in is very small and there are buildings providing a lot of wind protection on two sides. I’m somewhat dubious that they would work in an open area with a lot of wind.

The Eazielife 10FT String Light Pole is a versatile solution for creating an enchanting outdoor atmosphere with string lights. While it offers some positive features, there are a few aspects to consider before making a purchase.Starting with the positives, this string light pole is designed with durability in mind. The heavy-duty metal construction ensures that it can withstand outdoor conditions and provides stability for hanging string lights (to some extend). The pole's height of 10 feet allows for an impressive display of lights and adds an inviting ambiance to any outdoor space. The black powder-coated finish adds a touch of elegance and blends well with different décor styles. However, one notable drawback is that the pole does not feel as sturdy as expected when assembled. It comes in several pieces that need to be put together, which compromises its overall stability. While the metal construction is solid, the connections between the pieces may not provide the firmness and rigidity desired for a heavy-duty lighting stand. This can be a concern, especially in areas prone to strong winds or if you plan to hang heavier string lights.Another consideration is the assembly process itself. The fact that the pole comes in multiple pieces rather than a single solid stick may be a disappointment for some. It requires more effort and time to put together, and the connections between the pieces may not feel as secure as a one-piece design. This aspect could have been improved to provide a more user-friendly experience.Additionally, it's worth noting that this string light pole is designed for decorative purposes rather than heavy loads. It may not be suitable for hanging heavier objects or extensive lighting setups. If you plan on using it for more substantial decorations or heavier string lights, it's advisable to explore alternative options that offer greater stability and load-bearing capacity.Despite these limitations, the Eazielife 10FT String Light Pole still serves its purpose of adding a charming touch to outdoor spaces. With careful assembly and consideration of the weight being hung, it can create a lovely ambiance for deck, fence, railing, backyard, patio, or special event decorations. In conclusion, the Eazielife 10FT String Light Pole offers a visually appealing solution for hanging string lights outdoors. While it has some drawbacks in terms of sturdiness and assembly, it can still enhance your outdoor space with a delightful glow.

They are easy to set up but bend when weighted with light string

I opted to buy this product rather than constructing my own from a treated 4"x4" post, pot, and concrete. While the look and the easy of construction are great, the poles are just not rigid enough to string lights under any tension at all. The spikes at the bottom also started cracking at the welds when I tapped them with a hammer to try and seat them in the ground fully. I didn't take any pictures, but I wish I had read other reviews and just built my own. I have since done so and they work great and only cost me maybe $20 total more + my time, but it was fun for me.
