These were a bust for stringing lights when planted in the ground with tines (they dont carry weight and are too light to withstand any tension), but worked perfectly when attached to the deck rail. After a failed attempt to string festoon lights above a path, I put them aside for repurposing. I used them for another project stringing lights from the corner of the deck to a couple of trees, over the boardwalk to another tree. I'll look for shorter versions to install lights above the deck railings.Be sure to lubricate the threads because these aren't the best quality threads.

The whole pole set up gets put together rather easy, I left out two sections due to the length being way too tall for the lights I wanted to set up. There is a bit of sloppy soldering work done on the top and bottom ends of the poles but other wise they function exactly as expected. So far they've withstood winter, spring and now excessive summer rains, no rusting of any kind to report!

It was fairly simple to put together. However, The part that screws into the stake that goes into the ground broke as soon as we tried to screw it on. Very disappointed.

Lightweight and easy to install also! They are not crazy sturdy but hold up small LED lights with ease. They look good also.

When I first saw the picture, I thought they went in the ground and I was going to put them around my yard. Turns out they are built for attaching to the deck. This ended up being a blessing in disguise, because of how simple it was to attached to our dec. The instructions are very detailed and helpful which was great since it made it so I could do them on my own as a not very handy person. as for style, they are just black poles but when the lights are up, it changes the whole game. It makes me wanna sit out on the deck with a nice sweet tea! Hold lights very well easy to attach and very reasonable price. Despite the miscommunication I recommend.

Nothing crazy to say here. These are short poles that help make your string light setup look a bit more polished and secure. I attached these to my fence and garage on either side of the yard so I could run the lights overhead and across, back and forth. They're lightweight so definitely not intended to hold anything more than lights, though you could probably get away with decorations on strings for a birthday party or other event using these just fine. The hardware that's included doesn't feel galvanized, so I'm curious how well it will hold up to rain and general weather abuse. But that's easy enough to replace should it prove problematic.
