This item is as described online and works well for an area where you have an outlet but no light. The only problem is you have to unscrew the bulb to turn it off. It works well outside and cold temperatures in a shelter area.

Only two wires, one black, one white, no ground wire which makes the cord thinner than I expected. I purchased a water tight box to make the connection, but these cords were very thin, had to wrap the cords to get the water proof seal I needed. They work fine.

Building a couple fixtures for the new porch. The sockets seem durable but the threads are rubberized plastic so be careful tightening too far.Wire is a bit small, would have liked at least 18gauge but they wired up well to my 14 power.I’d buy the set again but if something gets squirrelly once it’s energized, I’ll update.

Used it to fix one of those non replaceable LED panels in an outdoor coach light. Just bypass the circuit board and add a dusk to dawn sensor 120v from Amazon and your light is fixed for $20. And you can change the bulb in this future.
