The start capacitor in a motor control box is considered a consumable part. Capacitors tend to lose capacitance over time and/or use, and need to be replaced when the capacitance drops below the described range.
This start capacitor is suitable for use in Franklin 1HP, 1.5hp and 2HP Control Box 2823008110 , 2823018110 , 2801084915, 2823018310, 2823508110 and other control boxes that use the same capacitor

Would not buy again. They don’t fit a franklin controller they are tiny. They are for a jet pump.

It's smaller than the original Ducati capacitor, but I couldn't find an exact match on the original. This one has the same specifications, just a slimmer package - Appears to work fine so far. Quick to arrive and a spare to boot. Good enough.

Worked as expected. Will have to see how long it lasts before commenting further. Shipping was fast but one of the two I received arrived cracked. Amazon customer service was excellent and had a replacement to my door just as quickly.

As you can see the chinesium escaped from the cap in less than1 week of service. Installed the second cap and it lasted less than a day. Good thing they sell them in pairs these caps pop faster than microwave popcorn!I did buy a quality cap at a vendor local to me several weeks ago, still going strong.Thanks for reading!
