Easy swap out on my Goodman unit, saved $100s in HVAC technician fees by doing it myself. Definitely watch some online videos to make sure you're working safely!

Recently my ac unit capacitor went bad so I needed a replacement. After doing some research I decided to buy a couple of these. One to replace the damaged one and one to keep just in case. I tested both with a multimeter and they are good. This is a really good value compared to other brands. After a month my ac is working just fine.

Voltage fluctuations and phase variations in the power supply from the grid wreaks havoc on household electric and electronic equipments and devices. Houston heat, dust, humidity and unsteady electrical supply takes a toll on your HVAC system. The transformer is the first thing to fail and makes the AC unit run continuously without any cooling. Imagine your electric bill given the high costs for electricity and its transmission. These are quality products, easy to install, reliable and priced right. The manufacturer/ seller and other YouTube creators have provided enough videos for a novice like myself to change these easily. Remember to release any residual charge by touching different prongs on the unit, you are taking out from your system, with a screwdriver. The rest is as simple as Plug and Play. Specifications are clearly printed on the unit. Prongs are clearly marked as well. I've replaced these units on each of my AC units with different microfarad ratings. They are a good buy, good quality, priced right and delivered exceptionally fast by Amazon without paying anything extra. I would definitely buy it again and would definitely recommend it to others as well.

fit perfect and got compressor going again avoiding a pricey service call or a replacement unit, easy fix just watch a youtube video and anyone can do it.

It works fine. Nothing much more needs to be said about a cap. It is a little bit larger in size than the one it replaces but that is no big deal.

Arrived in an extremely plain white box with a white label describing the specs. No company name or logo on the box. Nothing at all in the box but the capacitor in thin bubble wrap. No instructions or warranty information.Tested within spec out of the box, but longevity is unknown at this point. I will say that a friend who does HVAC for a living didn't have a high opinion of the brand - for whatever that's worth.I found it interesting that the description on Amazon mentions a lifetime replacement: "We stand behind our product's quality with lifelong free replacement service. If you encounter any issues with our capacitors, simply reach out to our dedicated customer service. We are committed to resolving any concerns and replacing defective products without any time limitations."All well and good, but how do you reach these dedicated individuals? A web search revealed a company called Okuma makes fishing gear, and there is an African wood called "Okoume" (also known as Gaboon) but no link to the dedicated support team, and okumoe.com does not resolve in DNS, so good luck with that.
