one unit. Three terminals on the top are labeled "Herm"/"H" for
the compressor motor, "Fan"/"F" for the fan, and "C" for the common
line.It will power a compressor motor and a fan motor.

This capacitor is used for start-up and operation of AC motors with
frequency of 50Hz/60Hz such as Industrial Grade Replacement for
Central Air-Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Condenser Fan Motors, and
Compressors.It is small in size, lightweight, heat resisting and anti-explosion.
Round capacitor can be used to substitute oval shape one with the
same MFD and Volt specs.A 440 volt capacitor can be used in place
of a 370 volt, as it is build better, but the 370 volt can’t be used in place
of a 440 volt.

One of our A/C units started making noise like a bearing was going out. We called a major A/C company to come out and snag nose the issue. Luckily, they were not up to par on their follow through. The salesman told us the condenser fan motor and the capacitor were bad. They also recommended installing a hard start for the unit. The cost was going to be $4,600.00 we said ok. They were supposed to be back out that afternoon to get the work done. After a day and a half of delays and unanswered phone calls, we cancelled the request for the work. I had mentioned it to my neighbor and he told me he could help me to get the work done. I ordered the parts on Amazon and in less than 3 days and $400.00 later our unit was back to functioning without issue. And with the new hard start kit installed thanks to my neighbor, I can’t even hear that unit start up anymore. So I would highly recommend this item whether you are a diy or professional A/C repair person!

Used this to fix my mom's central A/C after a storm.Found the original to be slightly dome shaped at the top. Tried the new one, held my breath as I turned the power back on to her A/C unit and voila....it worked. It's been a year....so far so good.Saved her a ton of money and received a nice dinner.Love you mom.

Worked perfectly, 20 minutes to change, A/C company wanted $425. Make sure you order the correct part, get the number off the existing capacitor.

After our AC quit working after a hot summer, we weren't sure what wasn't working. I have an older AC system that died suddenly last week, right when local temps were in the high 80's, meaning our indoor temps matched. Last time this happened (about 10 years ago), I ordered a capacitor but called a local HVAC company to check the system first. Stupid idea - they charged me $200 to install the same compressor from their van that I'd already bought online, telling me that they "can't install customer-provided parts"!So this time I ordered a capacitor to match the one that I guessed was faulty, making sure to both take plenty of photos of the connections, to completely power off the entire system & house (VERY important!) and to discharge any charge that was left in the faulty cap. Once I'd installed this, the system powered right up and immediately began cooling the house. Saved literally hundreds of $$ by installing this myself.Hopefully this one will last too, but for now it did exactly what was needed.

My AC unit stopped working and I changed out with this capacitor and it works great. This capacitor was a little smaller than the unit it replaced so I had to adjust the mounting bracket but it worked great.

We bought this and it is the same brand that HVAC company tried to charge us $300 to fix. I was a nightmare but it was easy to install and worked well, Make sure that you are getting the correct size.Will buy again if I have to.
