It only worked for about an hour. If I unplug it and let it sit for a few minutes, it will come on and run for a minute or 2, then quit again. I think it's too many amps for a 110 volt plug/ cord.

Using it to keep 4 RV coach batteries charged while running the inverter as well. With moderate to heavy use, this charger more than maintains the level of all 4 deep cycle batteries with ease. Quiet running and drops to trickle charge rate when batteries are near full. Excellent buy.

I bought this for my flounder gigging boat. I wanted to power 55 lb thrust trolling motor and about 40 amps worth of 12 volt LED lights. After 70 or so hours of run time, it has operated flawlessly. I didn't want the weight of multiple deep cycle batteries in my boat, so I run a suitcase generator that feeds power to this converter, which then supplies the 12 volts of DC power to my trolling motor and lights. I am very happy with it so far, and see no reason not to expect it to last a long time.

Unboxed it, hooked it up and no power output. Missed window to return so big paperweight now.

I had trouble with this device operating on a 15amp 120VAC marine breaker. What I found is that the device pulls about 18 amps at 120V AC (2160 watts), but only charges at 83 amps at 13V DC (1079 watts). So not only was it blowing my 15 amp breaker, it is less 50% efficient! That's terrible. Photo's show 120V AC current and 13V DC current measurements, which I also verified with a quality clamp meter.

hooked up the unit and plugged it in. there was a buzz sound and no light, no power and no nothing. no support for the unit. amazon should do better weeding out sellers that put garbage like this for sale and don't stand by it. 30 day return policy and unit failed on first attempt. what a joke
