I might return this.I only just connected it up, but the lithium mode is essentially just a fixed voltage up to 14.6v... It only charges upto 14.6v then it just sits there... If this was a "lithium" charge mode it would drop to 13.8v (float) after the bulk charge but it doesn't, unless mine is faulty!?It does have the "fixed voltage" mode which I can manually set to 13.8v. But this means my batteries will only charge to about 90%-95% (up until 13.8v, instead of 14.4v).This might be ok for my setup though because I can set this converter to a fixed voltage of 13.8v and my solar panels will complete the bulk charge up to 14.4v... (if the suns out)...Therefore, I will leave this installed for the next week or so and see how it goes and will do some research and monitor it, but I think I will probably end up returning this because I bought it for the lithium charging setting and there is actually no Lithium Charging setting! The "lithium charge setting" on this will end up costing me $6,000 worth of lithium batteries...and if I use the "fixed voltage" at 13.8% then it's not really fit for purpose...

I purchased this VEVOR RV Converter (55 Amp) with high expectations, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. 1. Unstable Charging Process: During use, the wattage fluctuates rapidly, and the converter frequently switches to “Standby” mode, making it impossible to fully charge my lithium battery. This issue severely affects the product’s usability. 2. Poor Compatibility with Lithium Batteries: Despite claiming to be compatible with lithium batteries, this converter lacks the necessary features for proper optimization. The voltage settings are inaccurate, and there are no advanced protections or configurations specifically for lithium chemistry. 3. Lack of Support: I tried searching online for solutions and even reached out to customer support, but I couldn’t get any effective assistance. This only adds to my frustration and doubts about the product’s quality. 4. Insufficient Documentation: The included manual is overly simplistic, with no clear installation instructions or troubleshooting guidance. For first-time users, this is especially inconvenient.Overall, this product has failed to meet even basic expectations and is unsuitable, particularly for lithium battery users. I would not recommend this converter and suggest looking for more reliable alternatives from reputable brands.

You can't argue with the price, it also runs a lot quieter than I expected. Not sure where the advertised 80A rating comes from. I see it averaging around 60A but the output energy fluctuates a lot, seen 70A for moments but not more than that.

Love the Vevor product. Works perfect with my new lithium batteries. I had to purchase an adaptor to go from a 20amp plug to 15 amp. No big deal and it only cost 10 bucks.

Fan fast cycling for less than minute or so then off ... heatsink at 60+c )) added 10 cfm cooling this is now about 40c. Quieter also. Internal fan can be modded to do this. Most manufacturers have not YET figured to run steady cooling then ramp up fan speed keyed to actual heat.
