These can comfortably hold 800ml. Maybe 900 if you push it. But there's no way these will hold 1L. I knew as soon as i unpacked them they were too small. If you just want a basic bottle then perhaps they are fine. But if you NEED something to actually HOLD 1L of liquid, look somewhere else. I'll keep these since I can find a use for them at some point. But they are literally useless for my intended purpose of mixing chemistry for developing photographic film. Lesson learned; stick with lab quality glassware for lab work. I'm rating them one star since the SELLER SHOULD KNOW FULL WELL THESE ARE NOT WHAT THEY ARE MARKETED AS.
