This is exactly what it says. A wide mouth 1000ml bottle. The markings go up to 800ml in easy to read graduations. The stopper fits well actually giving a bit of back pressure as it seats. The glass seems pretty substantial and I wouldn't worry about breaking it easily. Being borosilicate, neither hot or cold should bother it at all.

Very nice piece of glass lab equipment. The glass is very good quality and holds up to heat well.
