They come with no instuctions but I assume u just use them like regular wicks. But no u have to coat them in wax first. Didn't know that until I tried to light one and candle wasn't burning correctly my fault for not reading complete instructions on page. But I think instuctions need to be inside package when delivered too

I like these wicks they’re easier to use than the traditional wicks. They look great and crackle just as described. I didn’t notice too much smoke and they seem to burn the wax evenly. Function great.I will be buying more in the future

Nice clean burn after I doubled the wick and soaked it in olive oil. It crackles as it should and have a very luminous burn. Would recommend. Only reason I gave 4 start it’s not 100 wicks the set is 100 and it’s very thin so you have to double it.

Would have return this wooden wicks if I wasn’t outside the return window. I got these to use when my candles burn low & I mix them together to burn the rest of the candle. I have to use more than one to get a good burn, they don’t stay lit & they burn too fast.

These wood wicks would not stay lit. They burn too fast and low into the wax smothering them out. Very disappointed. Was looking forward to a crackling flame. Didn't happen for us, in fact very little flame at all and then they snuff out as the wax melts.

I will never use rope wick again these lasted much longer were easy to install and the flame burns short so no constant cutting or worry about potential fire hazard loved the kit

Used these wicks for make at home candles, the wicks do not stay lit. Even when the wick is cut down to 1/4-1 inch above wax, neither length had a positive outcome.
