WARM TIPS
- It’s important to trim the wick, 1/4" is perfect. It can prevent flame extinguishing before the lighter melts the wax. And avoid flame from burning too vigorously.
- Stay away from the combustibles and vibrations. Burn candle within sight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Tilt 45 degrees to light the candle can prevent the candle from extinguishing.

Lighting these wicks and keeping them lit is more work than making the actual candle, I do NOT recommend. I cut the wick at a good length and lite it, it went right out. I had to hold the lighter to the wick just to get the candle lit like this. Little crackling sound with my now short little burning wick that you can see in the photo

I love this wax for candle making. They even include an adhesive pad that keeps the wick in place while the wax hardens.

El titulo dice 200 mechas de madera, pero no vienen 200, solo vienen 50 unidades de mecha de madera, lo demás lo cuentan con los sticker y las bases. Es una publicidad engañosa. Llegaron en el tiempo acordado pero no era lo esperado. Las compre para un proyecto que tenia que entregar y me tocó buscar las restantes en el mercado local. No se porque colocan una cifra que no es la correcta, digan 50 juegos de mechas y ahi describen lo que traen. Pero 200 no traia el paquete. Me sentí muy engañada.

I just switched to these wood wicks and found that they don't burn as hot as the fabric wicks I precious used which means my candles have a much longer burn time! I really like these and will continue using them.

These woodwicks are good quality they are not too thin like others tend to be and the burn is a little slower which is nice. They’re easy to cut down and I have had no issues so far.

I love these wicks, after reading the bad reviews I learned there are A LOT of people out there making candles that shouldn't be...like coffe mug person? Who puts 3 wicks in a coffe mug?? Or the massive candles with 1 wick? What people doing! Anyways I use a 2.5 to 3.5 inch vessel that holds 8 to 10 oz of soy coconut blend wax and have an entire profitable business with these wicks so yes you can make them work for you if you know what you are doing .
