Super helpful when traveling - actually kept all my plants alive when I left for two weeks! Bulbs can be a little difficult to fill up (especially the smaller size) when clogged with soil.

I like the lightweight plastic - I had previously bought glass ones and these are just as easy to use without the concern over breakage. Would buy again.

I went away for 3 weeks for the holidays and nobody was around to water my 30+ plants, so I ordered these last minute. I honestly didn’t have much hope that these would work and expected to come home to at least a few of my plants dead. When I came home every single plant was alive and healthy as ever. I’m so happy and thankful I tried these!!

The opening of these are so small that you can’t actually fill them with water.

i purchased these for my beloved houseplants for a 21 day trip away and I knew they would need watering. In theory these sound great, but not practical. The hole is so large that all of the water will seep out in one day. I ended up trying to plug the hole so only a trickle of water came out. That did not work and I'm not sure that I will use them again.

The odd time you have to poke the dirt out and position a few times to get the water dispensing right. Once that is good though the waterer works perfect.

I'm going to first say that I can't keep plants alive for the life of me, so nobody ever gets me plants, except for my dad, he gets my sister's and I plants on mothers day, I decided to try really hard to remember to water them, but my ADHD kicks on my way to water them and forgets and then they die, because I didn't water them for 1-3 weeks. I bought these to help the watering part, well I fill it up and put it in the soil, and within minutes it's empty already, so I fill it up about 5 more times and put it in different spots each time amd same thing, water drains out. I went to lowes and bought one and it works like it should, and my plant hasn't died, yet. You do get a lot more for the price, but it's worth just spending the money for a decent one. Maybe the plastic is not sealed right and there are tiny holes and water drains faster, I'm not sure, they are not worth it to me.

My spouse and I really like plants but are notoriously bad watering them. We either forget or accidentally overwater them. These globes have been great at keep our plants happy and appropriately hydrated. It's also been a time saver in watering the plants. Since we've started using these globes, there's been a visible improvement in our plants' health and growth.I will also add as many have, that's important that when you first use these things, to make sure the plant is well watered already. This way the water in the globes lasts for several days before you have to refill. I didn't find these hard to refill in the sink as long as you open the faucet at a low flow.

Large and medium work great! A few of the minis drain quickly just may be my pot is too shallow or the bulb itself. Not sure but switched to medium and worked fine. Tip: try these on your plants. BEFORE you need them. Some needed a longer stem and some needed the shorter stem of the medium. Looks great, blends right in so doesn’t take away from the look of your display or compete for attention. Had the glass ones years ago but would break if dropped or bumped, not these, sturdy and feel safe if they get bumped by the dogs tail or cats paw! Great value for the price as well. Also easy to fill if you take your time.

I saw the reviews that people struggled to have success with these but I tried anyway. I tried a lot. I tried a lot of angles and levels and techniques, and I couldn’t really get any of them to work more than once, if that. The small ones seem to leak out water immediately, and the larger ones sometimes do, and sometimes go slowly enough that you wonder if it’s working correctly or just blocked by soil again. The big ones are large enough that they might knock over your small to medium plant if you try to angle them to get a faster drip. The small ones are small enough that they barely hold much water at all.I’m sure it’s possible that someone could kind of luck into some kind of system that works for them using these. But it wasn’t me. I certainly wouldn’t trust these over a vacation without testing them, and also learning yourself how they work for a few weeks first. One dirt clod when you’re filling it the morning you leave and you don’t notice because you don’t know what it feels like, you’d be coming home to a dead plant. Try to use one that perhaps for some manufacturing defect just won’t hold water and you didn’t test it first? You’d be coming home to a dead plant. They are so cute, and smaller than the terracotta bottle spikes i have used successfully before. It’s a shame they just… don’t work very well.

Used these tiny bulbs as it said to do and when I went back into the sunroom, half of them were EMPTY! They are to add water to the plant as the soil dries out. We have several old bulbs that we purchased years ago and they still work, these new ones were costly and totally useless. What a waste.
