These are easy to use but hard to use right. 8 out of 10 times I used these the chemicals did not mix correctly and it ended in less than optimal cushion. The entire process has to happen very quickly in order to mix the chemicals, spread the mixture and position it in the box so that it takes shape all before the mixture dries and hardens. If it's not done right you get a half filled pouch of thin padding that is not shaped to secure your items. I know it's not the products fault but I wasted too many getting the process right since the instructions give you the overall process but not the little details that help you get it done the right way. If you know how to use these and have experience I'm sure these do the job great but for me this pack was mostly wasted on trial and error.

If you put one of these in a box that isn't small enough, you basically end up with a 16x14 half-inch high foam cushion. Also: They aren't joking when they say to WEAR GLOVES. It quickly becomes too hot to touch with bare skin.

I was packing a delicate statue and had to work very fast to get the foam package inflated and the statue molded into it before it hardened. I couldn’t very well jam the delicate statue in because it would break. It fit into the foam well enough to ship but it didn’t look right and I worried about it until it arrived safely.There’s definitely a learning curve. It’s expensive and you have to work fast. I’ll use it again because I ordered 10 packets which will ship 5 items with one pack for the bottom and one pack for the top. If it gets any easier I’ll change my review.

Product works as described. The only issue is that the order was supposed to be a pack o10 and unfortunately only 7 packs were delivered
