This foam is what is needed to replace or upgrade the foam padding in equipment cases for cameras, guns, electronic instruments, etc. This foam is easily configurable by simply removing cubes of material to form fit the padding to whatever is to be protected. This padding is high density closed cell foam that feels firm and high quality. I will make good use of this foam in all my equipment cases.

I have a hard case and I picked this up to replace what I already had. This is a very tight plucks. It is about 1/4 inch. It is firm, yet gives. I did have to use a knife to start since the foam was so thick. I was able to get a better cutout for the items I had in the case, which made me happy

These foam sheets are nicely uniform. They are not what I would call "high density". They are average density soft polyurethane. The uniformity of the foam cell structure through the thickness is very good and is quite small (good). The edges are not cut square but rather with a slight concave. The center of the foam sheet (the base of the concave) is exactly 12" x 16". The top and bottom surfaces are slightly larger (16-1/4" x 12-1/4"). The pick and pluck grid is advertised as 0.6" x 0.6". It is actually smaller at 7/16" x 7/16" (which I prefer). The thickness is advertised at 2". It is actually 1-7/8". The outer boarder is 1/2" wide on the top and bottom faces. The foam grid stays together well between plucked sections. It plucks cleanly. I am very happy with these pull and pluck foam sheets, however, since the product description is not entirely accurate I adjusted the rating to four stars.

Arrives vacuum packed. Grows to full size in about 10 minutes. Slightly larger than 12x16 for a nice fit in a case with those internal dimensions. Search Amazon for other kits with varying thicknesses and including non-perforated pieces to make multi-layer cases for smaller items. Mine are used for mic/bodypack transmitters.

These are vacuum sealed when you get them, so open it and give it time in re inflate. The were a great replacement for a strong box I was using for a scope that I wanted to change out.

This pull apart foam is so durable and customizable that you can’t pass this up for the price. It fits in just about any case, simply glue it or leave it unglued it fits well. It conforms nicely and the foam tension is perfect for medium weight items, such as a sidearm, tools, and other such items. I recommend this foam.

The foam is great. It’s a nice solid replacement or even additional / alternate foam allowing you to use one case for multiple uses.It’s good density, high quality foam at a decent price. It was easy to customize and keeps my items secure within the case. It arrives compressed but quickly expands once opened and is ready to use. I would recommend this to anyone who needs good foam, especially since the price point is so good.
