I have a chair that doubles as a scratching post for my cats and tried this as a last resort. It was very hard to stick it on the chair, and I needed multiple sheets for each part that were difficult to align. They came with furniture nails, but I found they stuck well without them. They're clear but not invisible and they look ugly. When I took them off they left marks on the chair they were purchased to protect. Maybe they'd work better on something flat but none of my furniture is flat.

We bought the one side sticky films for our two sofas and they work very well, they havent come off in the nearly a year we have had them on, they have stopped the cats scratching, and we will be buying more.

I got a kitten and a couch I love equally. This helped save my couch from turning into a dreaded scratching post. Kitten has zero interest in scratching any area covered in this plastic. Its sticking very well to my couch so far. I will defintely be buying more in the furture if it ever starts falling off.

Easy to peel, easy to place on the couch without wrinkling the plastic. My cats have much less interest in the couch now

I put these on my couch 4 days ago and they are already peeling off. They do not stick well at all! I should have purchased the other brand that has pins to hold them in place because these don't work. I basically threw money in the trash buying these.

The product is shown, on Amazon, to be invisible...it is NOT! It sticks where should, AT FIRST, but peels off in time. Fortunately, they do include some fasteners to keep the product in place on furniture, but they are a little obvious, and mar the elegance of my new dining chairs. Better than nothing, but NOT what I had hoped for.

The size of the sheets is a plus; however, pre-planning is helpful. I suggest using newspaper to practice on before cutting the adhesive sheets to maximize coverage.Product sticks to leather and plastic, but not so well to fabric (especially if it is already damaged). Recommend using upholstery pins if using on fabric.I only see one attempt to claw the product and it has deterred them since.

I love those for my sectionnal, I have 3 cats and I REFUSE that they damage my couch and these are a life saver! Easy to use, not too thick not too thin. I 100% recommend :)

Because these are only sticky on one side the cat cannot scratch and they look clean! The ones that are sticky on both sides get “dirty” quickly - they collect fur, dust, lint from your clothes… these are great

Would stick to my wall about as good as old scotch tape. It will probably fall off on its own in an hour. Probably would stick better on a non spackled wall. Stuck to my couch pretty well so it's just the adhesion type I guess

We got this to put on the carpet under our power reclining couch. The kittens had been exploring under the couch when we reclined, which is obviously dangerous and made us use our couch less and do elaborate checks all the time until we figured out a solution. Tried putting aluminum foil underneath which only slightly helped as the kittens still messed with it.We got this double sided scratch protector. It is *tricky* to apply, as it is very easy to mess it up, but after getting the hang of firmly pressing the film down on the carpet or underneath the couch before removing the protective film it worked. Most importantly, the kittens do NOT like touching the sticky surface, and now that the entire area under the couch legs is covered they avoid the whole area. They spent a half hour sniffing at it and touching it with their paws gently but then moved on and now just don't bother trying to get under the couch at all.We also used the same scratch guard to put a cat-repeller on a few inches of wood on our TV stand. They were using the edge to jump up on our aquarium lid but that stopped that instantly too.
