This compact hammer did it's job for pounding stakes into the ground at campsites, deep into the sand on beaches, and into rocky areas. Needed a compact hammer to save space and reduce carry weight but wasn't sure how a short handle 8oz hammer would perform. I can say after use that it has performed very well to date.

We were doing some repair work inside of a travel trailer and only had a small space. We tried other methods to hammer in the small nails, but when this hammer arrived, we got it done in 2 minutes.I like that it's small but has a hefty head. We've started using it around the house for other projects, as well.

Hammer as advertised and shipped promptly. Short handle makes for great tool in tool bag. Heavy enough for real work.

I am just starting to use rivets in my jewelry and someone highly recommended this small hammer. It's a lot easier to handle for this type of work. Besides, it's a cute little thing.
