Got this hammer to help build a model boat (see in the picture). High quality design at an affordable price point. Solid wooden handle that fits nicely in your hand. The weigh is accurate and the durability is there - will continue using it on further projects.

The smaller head creates a nice texture without flattening the wire too much.

I was disappointed when I opened the package and saw this tiny little hammer. Just so happened though I needed it to flatten some light gauge round wire. Worked absolutely perfect for that job. Next I thought I would flatten some of the round wire soldier I had,I always fl@tten it,. Little hammer worked like a champ and the head is made of good quality steel. It's not nicked or dinged, maybe some very,very minor scratches but not enough to worry about. I have another the same size with 7 changeable heads that include brass and plastic. I like the steel headed one much better. Just remember,it's for very delicate work. You can't go and try to beat something to death with it. Taken care of it will last year's if not a lifetime.

Very small and too lightweight to use for metalsmithing, which is its intended use.Euro Tool stamps its name on so many craft tools that are junk and do not perform for their stated use.Maybe they should stop grabbing money and test items before they give the inventors a few bucks andmark up the prices.Never again, Euro Tool.

To say this hammer is small is an overstatement.The description really lacks pertinent info.The hammer is only 8" long an the head 1/4".Very misleading

This Hammer is the perfect size for my smaller pieces of wire and metal working. It is small and light but still enough weight to it for the hammer to be able to perform its job perfectly. I would recommend this hammer to anyone who makes jewelry or does wire/metal working.

This ball pein hammer is small and lightweight, and is good for hammering silver wire. Don't let the overall weight fool you: the head of the hammer has some good heft. I make jewelry as a hobby, and am pleased with the performance of this hammer. The flat pein flattens the wire well, and the ball pein adds good texture to the metal.My one complaint with this item is that it arrived rusty where the black paint is on the head. I will have to put some enamel on this part to make it a bit nicer and to keep the rust from getting on things. There was no rust on either of the peins, so the rust did not directly affect my work.For the price, this is a nice little hammer.
