USING NOTES
- Please place the new ankle weights in an outdoor ventilated place for 3 days to reduce smell.

These are fine for a workout if you are a man or a larger-framed woman. They looked good for that, but these weights are big and bulky, so if you are a small-framed person, beware. I am 6' and about 200#, and they felt big on me. The quality seems very good, and the weights fit tightly in the sleeve, so no worries about losing one or having it fly off and hit someone in the head!

I just finished P/T and wanted to continue the exercises at home, so I bought these adjustable ankle weights. I wanted to be able to add weight as my strength improves, so I picked these. I'm currently using 3 lbs and doubt I'll need more than 5 for an effective workout, so these fit the bill, and the price was reasonable. I found it relatively easy to remove and replace the bags in each compartment. Each removable weight is a 1 lb bag of sand-type material in a plastic bag, encased in a black fabric bag that should be fully stitched closed on both ends. On two of the four bags I removed, the stitching had come undone, leaving that end partly open. Not a big deal since the sand is in a plastic bag but I'll probably restitch it closed; I deducted one star for that missed detail. I'm 5'2", with a small frame, so I was concerned that they would be too bulky or that I wouldn't be able to get them to close tightly enough, but the Velcro closure gives me a snug fit. They are a little bulky, but not uncomfortably so. I like the color and fabric. I think they'll work great for what I need. I recommend them if you're looking for this type of weight.

I am really satisfied with these adjustable ankle weights. Each ankle strap has 5 pockets that hold 1-pound weights, which can be removed individually to adjust the weight. This allows you to customize the weight between 1-5 pounds per leg, with a maximum of 10 pounds for the pair. i have had these weights for a long time now. i have not adjusted them, i have only used the full weight. but they look easy to adjust. i was a night shift nurse and i would wear them during my shift to make my steps really count. they fit well under my scrub pants. everyone was so surprised when they would catch a glimpse of them. now i wear them to the gym. i wipe them off with sanitizing cloths to keep them clear. they have worked great for me. love the strong, wide velcro strap, it sticks very well. they are comfortable but i do have to tighten them once they settle otherwise they rub.

Bought these for my husband since he started physical therapy and they are perfect. Love how we can remove or add the weights as needed. Amazing value for the price. The velcro is the strongest I've ever had. Great fit. No sand leakage.

Great ankle weights for a surprisingly lower than competition price. The velcro strap is large and strong and the ability to change total weight by adding or removing the small weights inside makes it great for progressive training.

I already have several sets of ankle/wrist weights. These are really high quality and comfortable. I got two five pound weights as i felt that i could lower to four or three (neither of which i have) and add to in addition to my other five pound weights if i wanted to. the little bags coming out is one of the things i was looking for and there is a bit of a stretch to the strap which helps make them fit nicely.
