I use these to make perches for my bird cages. They work just fine. Wish they were in stainless or brass, but it's ok.

Absolute junk, the threads are poorly formed and undersized, the wood end isn't anywhere close to sharp. Amazon, this is junk. Buy from a real hardware store and you will pay more, but this is worthless.

In today’s world with the mom and pop hardware store’s closing because of the “Big Box “store it’s great that we can still find the items not in stock or they don’t carry these items. Losing local hardware’s is losing part of americana So anyway this hardware item is exactly what I was looking for

Not as pictured. I needed the ones pictured. The ones they sent have no smooth middle. Also several of them had bad treads so I had to pull out the tap and die set.
