This is a clever set of two tools. One to drive hanger bolts and one to drive in threaded inserts. The two methods to connect things have been around for a while. Tools to install them adequately have not. Hanger bolts and threaded inserts are not a problem in the shop but they can be a challenge when not being installed in a shop. That's where these two tools will work best.I use both hanger bolts and threaded inserts on rough furniture the critters lounge on out front, on our porch. The perches are designed with a single center post (hanger bolt) and four legs on the bottom. Threaded inserts are used to level the legs. These tools will come in handy when I build more of these.

This is a dual bolt driver and threaded insert driver (the kind you find in screw in furniture like the store you’re thinking about right now) that allows you to create pieces that can be broken down reliably. The metal is of good quality, I’ve run it through a few practice runs and now feel comfortable in proceeding with actual projects without the fear of putting in work that I ruin on the back end. They’re listed as 1/4” and they measure exactly that. Not much more to say, if you’re looking for a bolt and insert driver this is exactly what you’ll get. Nice to see folks following through on their work and their word, well done.
