This modem has worked perfectly. It was easy to set up and connect with my internet carrier. It has been completely reliable. I took away a star because the power cord had one of the two prongs bent in a manner that prevented it to be plugged in. Fortunately I was able to repair this myself and it had worked with no issues.

Bought this to get out from under a leasing charge on my phone bill. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to upgrade and get out of paying the phone company that extra lease money for a crappy modem. The phone company will never tell you how much better the quality of your internet can be by just upgrading your modem. Even though this is a refurb it works flawlessly.

The product works great to connect to CenturyLink. My CenturyLink was out and of course the ISP blamed my hardware and not their service. So I ordered this as a backup unit to test my connection. After 12 days of outage my signal came back from the provider and both my DSL modems worked - my original and this one. To test this modem I hooked it up to my service and did not have to do anything! It just worked. I did a speed test and confirmed internet access. I have no reason to keep it, as the problem turned out to be my ISP’s problem. I would buy one of these in an instant if my current DSL modem actually failed.

Well Priced and works, but only found out after a week that the modem is missing "Blocking/Filtering" function, a key feature this model should have.

The only reason I got a refurbished was because it was through Amazon. Great return policy thank goodness. It set up fine after some time. Ethernet worked but the wifi was flakey from the start. The 5Ghz was weak then disappeared altogether. My range extender (also dual band) didn't want to connect then when it finally did the signals kept disappearing. Something wrong with the transmitter or antennas. Guess I'll stick with my single band for now. At least it works.
