It was missing the knife and the carpet tucker. The knee kicker was used and had carpet pieces stuck in it. The box had a label where it had previously been sent to someone else. I am returning it. Thank you.

Had to trim carpet back on 3 thresholds after laying tile. So much easier and better to use this tool. Also, even though the knife is small and does not retract, the blade was quite sharp, and the screw to take the handle apart will be moved to a better utility knife.

Whether you’re right handed or left-handed it won’t matter because this is meant or your knee so Amazon says I bought this. I’m pretty sure I bought it for my crew who never used it so I would guess it’s in my shop somewhere or in somebody’s truck or they sold it on craigslist Not really the companies fault. I’m sure it works just fine. Maybe better than fine. Maybe it’s the best one out there but I doubt it because I bought it and I usually just buy cheap stuff. I guess cheap doesn’t mean but it certainly doesn’t.

My girlfriend ad the idea we could carpet our stairs on the treads only and use decorative boards for the riser face. Sounds simple enough! It's not. We ended up buying an air compressor and top notch nail gun because - you just have to have that power to do it right. These tools did a great job of tapping the carpert in place and "kicking" it to get tension in it. I've need fancy versions sell for 4 times as much and can't imagine how they'd work any better than this.

Ordered this economical package to do a stairs and found it works very well. Made the carpet installation much easier and the result was a nice looking installat. Don't know how well it would be on a larger project like a room.
