These pads are very comfortable for home-use projects. They saved my knees for the most part being used for a flooring project in the basement on concrete. The straps are adjustable but the band stretches to comply with your leg. I don't have large legs and would same I'm a "medium" leg. :-) The strap allows it to slip and move. If it was too firm, then you might be restricting circulation and that leads to pain. The pads did stay in the area, but not totally in place when used over sweat pants. I didn't try it on my bare leg or with jeans, so that might hold them in place differently. As for comfort, they were great and helped my knees from hurting any further. The material would hold up based on how I used them but the straps are the weaker point of the materials. I'm satisified with the product for my project needs.

I received these knee pads and was excited to use them on some flooring jobs. Unfortunately these were too big for my legs and would twist side to side. No matter what I did they would not stay in place and cinching the straps tighter resulted in pinching and irritation behind my knees.I sent an inquiry to the NoCry customer service. Within 10 minutes I had a reply. I explained the situation to them and Charlie responded with a list of 3 knee pads that would work better for me. I picked the knee pads that you could get in a smaller size. I received these and I am happy to say they completely solved my problem. They stay in place with the straps just being snug and are very comfortable.It's refreshing to know that there are still companies that place a premium on taking care of their customers. Charlie went above and beyond to solve my problem. Thanks NoCry and Charlie!

Just over a year ago, I had to have full and total knee replacement. It's all healed up, but it is still very uncomfortable to kneel down on the operative knee. With the "NoCry" knee pads, it is as though the pain doesn't exist!! Great product!!!

I used many different knee protectors before, but this is not matched. Really comfortable and perfect protection.

I am a tile setter so l am on my knees quite a bit so a good kneepad is a must. I tried to save about half of what l normally pay and was disappointed. The product would be suitable for general activities like gardening, working on your car or light maintenance around the house. Not for professional use.I did like the clasps over the velcro.

No crying here! These knee pads are awesome. Great to use when wearing jeans or work pants. Just strap them up when needed, super easy to do. Great cushioning / support. Definitely a great buy for the price! Coincidentally one of my favorite color combos, black and red, if that matters to you.

Grateful for these knee pads! I've only used one so far and it is holding up very well! I'm on a knee scooter all day due to a broken foot and my knee was hurting and getting roughed up. I bought a knee scooter pad, but even with the 2" memory foam cushion my knee needed more support. This knee pad has been a knee saver and makes getting around on my knee scooter much easier and a lot more comfortable.

Ordered these as im doing the flooring in our house and these have saved my knees. They are stong, and firm but soft on the knees and the adjustable straps make it perfect to adjust on the go, way better then the crap ones i got before from nike

Have been crawling on a rough 30 x 30 deck for the last few weeks. Must say that I am impressed with the durability of this product.Fit very comfortable, excellent strapping system, no Velcro is used to close the strap around your knee, has a unique closing button which works great.Provides excellent protection for knees , and they do not fall or lift while wearing.Very impressed with product.Been using them for approx. 30 hours ( on knees) and not even scuffed .Writer not paid for this review .2021-04-09- 100 hours on knees.......knee pads still in great shape. ( no holes).2021-09-21- Knee pads still in great shape with no concerns with wear .2023-07-19- Writer purchased another pair of these knee pads when they were on sale . It seems the first pair I purchased will not break down . In the last couple of years I have spent 100's of hours doing landscaping , concrete work, carpentry , laying sod down , vehicle maintenance etc, etc. This product has definitely worked well and lasted . If I can offer a tip , mark one of your knee pads with a L or an R ,as you always want to place the knee pad on the same knee each time, as your knees will mold to your purchased knee pads ........old hockey shin pad trick :)Edit> 2024-05-30 - Knee pads still being used on a regular basis - still in very good shape. I still haven't opened the pair I purchased a year ago " on sale". You won't be making a mistake by investing in this product. Can advise that I have not accepted any form of gratuity for positive review.

I have quite sensitive knees. I cannot kneel on any surface unless it is very soft.I was able to remove the weeds from between the brickwork from my back patio and front footpath wearing these - a job that took almost 2 hours. I had no discomfort in my knees during this activity.I had not thought about the method for attaching them. I assumed they would be velcro.The hook mechanism they have works much better, and makes it very easy to adjust the size once and then take on/off as required.Made a job I've been avoiding very comfortable to do, they are a good price and it arrived very quickly - a perfect score.
