I had to return this item and get a different model of the same thing which is model# 350xl. My local water district would not approve this one. I think this one would be ok for lawn or fire sprinklers.

Quality product with easy to read and follow directions for installation. Helpful arrows on the product to demonstrate correct pathway for water flow. Advises to install 12 inches above ground. Feels solid and performs as expected.
