First picture is old PRV. Had issue with dynamic pressure dropping drastically (30 psi) when water turned on so weak flow from everything in house. The new PRV body is an inch difference in inlet to outlet so had to dig a little to get the gap closed. Once in and set to static pressure the dynamic pressure only dropped by 10 to 15psi which solved my problems.WHY THREE STARSNow the product itself functions great, but don’t expect all the parts pictured. I got just the PRV. Luckily the fittings were the same size as the old reducers so just had to screw it in place using orings from Home Depot.Good PRV if you’re handy and can get parts easily.

As others reported this replaces the Wilkins BR 4 Valve. It does not come with new rubber gaskets, however if your gaskets are in good condition you can re-use them, which is what I did. I added teflon tape to the threads.

I was able to replace my old BR4 regulator in just 10 minutes. This new regulator is factory set to 50 psi, but it's best to verify this using a water pressure gauge screwed onto a hose bib. As others have said, the rubber gaskets are not included, so purchase a set or reuse the old ones if they are in good shape.

The PRV is fine except you do not get the necessary Union Gaskets to install it. I am now faced with returning it since I can not get not order the missing parts.

The part is a direct replacement for the Wilkins BR4.It comes out of the box set to around 40 PSI, easy to adjust the pressure.I would have given it 5 stars, for the price it would have been nice for the box to include new O rings.

Replaced a Wilkins BR4 1 1/4" regulator. It's not all metal like the BR4 and the unit is a little smaller as well, but it's the same pipe diameter so it works. Since it was a replacement, I used my old unions and everything screwed right in. 5 minute installation.
