Arrived without any protection. Just in a very thin plastic bag. So first one received was broken. Pre-ordered and second came packaged the same but it was at least in one piece. This may doesn't have a center recess for the lable and is the same size as the record so you need to really use a Mitchell type clamp for this to work. It also smells like old tires and it took weeks for it to dissipate. But it was cheap.

For the price, not bad, but poorly finished. Lots "crumbs" right out of the package (the sleeve it came in was full of rubber crumbs). I lightly brushed it off several times but kept getting more crumbs. I finally lightly rinsed and dried it, and lightly brushed again and it seems to have stopped shedding. The surface is also somewhat coarse/uneven. Again, for the price, can't really complain. Mostly wanted it to see if a mat like this is a direction I want to go without spending a lot of money up front. If I like it, I'll probably upgrade to something of better quality.

This is a very high quality mat with a consistent blend of rubber and cork. FWIW, it is exactly the diameter of an LP. Very happy with it.
