It is a nice white fine sand, the crab seems to like it. But it does stick to his water sponges and his claws if he gets wet but comes right back off once it’s dry.

Nice, but doesn't help with my hermit crabs it got all sticky.

I used the sand in my ants formicarium. It's great. I like the fact that when you wet it, it dries almost stone hard so the ant can't dig under it.

I love this sand. I have also used multiple colors. My crabs are comfy and happy with the sand as well. It stands up, there is no odor and it is worth the money for sure.

This stuff is fantastic. I have used it exclusively for years and it is simply the best. My crabs love it! Never had a problem with it. Would enthusiastically recommend it to any hermit crab keepers.

i mixed it in with the other sand i purchased at the same time, and my hermit crabs thought it was great having fresh sand. i like how the white and the other color mixed easily.
